Cambridge Intercontinental University partnered with Prosoft to bring the most up-to-date high-end certification courses in telecommunication owned by Prosoft. The CTP course acts as a mandatory module in the first semester of MSc program of CIU.

The CTP and CCNT certifications quality contents are being governed by CTP Certification Advisory Council (CAC).
The CTP Certification Advisory Council (CAC) was convened to define and drive CTP objectives. Telecommunication Industry Association assembled the CTP CAC with major telecom and IT companies including Avaya, Cisco, First Telecommunications, IBM, Inter-Tel, Mitel and Siemens. The mission of CTP CAC was to determine objectives and general overview of CTP certification, define the target CTP candidates, define the CTP exam competencies and questions, promote CTP exams within their organizations as well as to the industry at large, and serve as an ongoing resource for TIA Education/Credentialing Committee activities.
