 To enhance policy and practice in open, distance, flexible and e-learning
To support and encourage international cooperation and enhance the understanding of the importance of quality provision in cross-border higher education
Challenges
The mission can be summarized into meeting the challenges in the transnational education systems and students services as follows.
The National Accreditation and quality assurance with the perspective to the global education systems does not necessarily cover the cross-border higher education challenges and often the students become the victim to misleading guidance in choosing the right International Institution for higher education as of limited knowledge and experience in dealing with cross-border higher education systems.
The need for obtaining national recognition of foreign qualifications has posed challenges to national recognition bodies worldwide.
Lack of implementing the best practices in blended learning in higher education
Lack of developing & designing planned program of professional development activities reflecting issues of current and likely future interest and providing networking opportunities

Continuing to develop & improve the quality of the program and to keep it up to date with global developments in cooperation with the world’s top experts and institutions in higher education
